The new Star Wars Movie "The Force Awakens" which opens on 17 December in the UK was filmed at Puzzlewood in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean area, just a few moments from Monmouthshire Cottages. Cottage guests have become ( slightly) less surprised to see Stormtroopers in and around the cottages and the Forest as there have been a number of wonderful PR stunts and celebrations which have been much enjoyed by all. Puzzlewood is a very family friendly attraction with ancient rock formations and twisted vegetation to enjoy – and a cafe- and it is to be expected that Monmouthshire Cottages guests from all over the galaxy will continue to visit it. This time they will be saying "May the Forest be with you!" as #The Forest Awakens!
