Really loved the cottage and garden. Fab to see an old property thats been sensitively upgraded with oodles of character and original features still evident. Sunday lunch at The Black Bear was fab, and the log fire was “a must” on our last evening, and helped beighten up a wet Sunday too!!. Feeling very rested after our stay in Vanilla Cottage. Lots of great information to help us explore the area, and all the facilities were excellent. Beautiful cottage in an amazing location. So peaceful just listening to the birds of an evening and early morning. It was just the relaxing break my husband and I needed. We have had 5 lovely days at Vanilla Cottage, beautiful weather everyday. I hope we get to visit again.
