Another lovely week spent at Tintern Abbey Cottage. Enjoyed the Tintern Fete. We even won a box of chocolates. Thank you for the beautiful cake and wine to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Had loveley weather and enjoyed visiting The Anchor pub for lunch on Sunday. Daisy loved all the walks. Hope to come back again. Thanks again for the warm welcome. Imaaginatively restored and modernised cottage. Well stocked. Heatwave so enjoyed eating outside. Enjoyable touring. The Kymin at Monmouth and The Eagles Nest and Lydney Harbour were standouts. Christopher and Lindsay Bond -

We spent a wonderful week in Tintern Abbey Cottage. We enjoyed the nature of the Forest of Dean and also spent a lot of time witb relatives in Caldicott. Our short stay in Wales was mainly a get away and family meet up. We all came together from Sheffield Yorkshire and Preston Lancashire. The cottage had everything we needed including a bonus hot tub. We all set out seperately doing our own things in Lydney, Chepstow, Newport, Clearwell and Tintern coming together in the evenings. We ate out one evening at The Anchor which was delicious. We enjoyed the wine tasting at the vineyard in Tintern. Malcolm and Fiona have been very friendly and welcoming and helpful also quick to answer our e mails.
