“Thank you for a fabulous stay at your beautiful cottage. We have had such a relaxing stay and a lovely birthday- relexation being something normally tricky with a 1 and a 3 year old! We cannot fault anything but especially loved the hot tub, the woodburner, and the fact that you literally supply everything a person could require. Thank you for your added touches and the vidka which make it a delightful place to stay.Both us and the kiddies loved tintern Abbey and had great food at the Anchor and the Fountain ( only 5 mins away). We just spent 5 weeks over the Christmas period in this cosy cottage which is situated in an idyllic setting next to the River Usk. The cottage is exactly how it looks in the advert and has great amenities and the hosts (Malcolm and Fiona) couldn’t have been more accommodating – we even had a christmas tree with all the trimmings. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the garden feeding the birds, watching the squirrels and even saw an owl – and have already made enquiries about returning for another 5 weeks. Had quite a few delicious meals in the local pub The Black Bear, which is located about a mile away and Usk is very convenient, quaint and has great amenities (good Indian restaurant and local Spar shop). We have just spent another relaxing and peacefull time at this lovely cottage ( our seventh visit) It comes highly recommended for warmth, cosiness, facilities and real five star quality of welcome and appointment. Fiona and Malcolm have maintained these high standards for years now which is so very hard to do.An excellent venue for walking , cycling, sightseeing , shopping Pubs and restaurant and casual dining.
