Lovely few days at the cottage. On a wet day we visited Penderyn distillery – good value, can drink the cost of the tour! Also had a lovely lunch at Cwtch Cafe in Abergavenny – Welsh Rarebit and cakes to die for and very reasonable prices. Did a lovely walk along the Usk Valley trail and then back over the hills from Clytha Park to Bettws Newedd. We really enjoyed sitting in the garden and watching films in the evening Thank you so much Toby and Rhiannon Stokes Guildford Toby and Rhiannon Stokes - June 2014

Such a lovely place to visit! We came for a few relaxing days to chill out before our baby arrives in 7 weeks. The cottage is beautiful with an amazing garden. Spent our nights chilling and eating in the cottage. Ate out one night at The Black Bear- very good food! Le Preggo in Monmouth do amazing cream teas! Jean Williams of Sweets fishing shop is lovely- sorted Paul out for fishing equipment – so friendly. We really enjoyed being in Vanilla Cottage, even though the weather wasn’t great, it provided a relaxing haven for us and luckily no dashes to the local hospitals. Many thanks to Malcolm and Fiona Paul and Debbie Hulme - May 2014
