We have had a delightful stay in this welcoming and homely Vanilla Cottage. The walks have put Matty our Jack Russell in seventh heaven with all the trees to sniff, a change from beaches for her. Lovely cottage and thank you for the treats. Had a great time walking- Symonds Yat and along the river, the Monks Walk and best of all to the Devil’s Pulpit- what a view and 1000 year old Yew thrown in. Dogs loved it. Lovely meal at The Anchor Inn and lunch at Saracens Head near Symonds Yat. Another lovely lunch at Brockweir and Hewelsfield Community Shop and cafe. I’ve just arrived home after a lovely few days staying in your cottage. We really enjoyed ourselves. The cottage was beautiful. Warm and cosy and so tastefully restored.The Wye Valley was also beautiful, we’ve never been before and it is likely we will be back.
