Beautiful house, beautiful view and amazingly mostly beautiful weather – even sitting in the garden with a chilled glass of bubbly on one occassion. Can’t think of anything that could possibly improve it. Buddy particularly appreciated the welcome treat (although we did have to brush up the crumbs that he distributed generously about the place! We have enjoyed our short stay in this beautiful cottage, and the unexpected sunshine has allowed us to appreciate the local area too.. We have had a wonderful week with plenty of short walks and plenty of relaxation in front of the woodburner. We visited the Black Bear, Clytha Arms and the Chainbridge and all welcomed dogs which was excellent. Thanks for the welcome gifts – all very enjoyable We would come back again – no question! We’ve had a fantastic weekend. Ideal cottage for six friends. Very cosy, welcoming and so well equipped. Highly recommend sunday lunch at The Fountain, lovely walk there and back. We enjoyed our week here. We had good weather apart from the last day, it was made better by tge fact that the golf course is a great place to walk the dogs. Found some kovely walks, fell in love with Usk and the people. Would come back again.
