This was a holiday to celebtate an 80th birthday with family. The cottage and Tintern are an ideal setting. So kucky to have perfect weather. Some of our party canoed on the Wye from Monmouth and we followed The Monks Walk from the Abbey. Everywhere we were greeted with cheerful friendliness- starting with Fiona’s welcome to this lovely cottage – we were even entertained every evening with the Olympics on tv! We chose Vanilla Cottage as a base to visit the National eistedffod for the week. The layout and presentation of the cottage is to be congratulated. Your welcoming package was much appreciated. Beautiful, comfortable. home away from home. Weve had lots of adventures and enjoyed a good wind down in the hot tub to recover.
