“Like several of the writers in the guest book we enjoyed walks in Tintern near the Abbey and along the river. These walks completed a wonderful time. Thank you for the wine and special fruit vodka. This latter helped us sleep 10 hours the first night! The time has gone too quickly and the peace and quiet was appreciated, We did not try any of the local eating houses but enjoyed cooking in a well presented kitchen and the discovery of what was where for us to use. Thanks! Richard and Elizabeth January 2009” Richard and Elizabeth - March 2014
“We were there for just a short visit before Christmas, right as you were putting up the real tree and lights for your lucky visitors. It really did look like the website which isnt always the case and we thought it looked fantastic. We only have a fake tree at home, very pretty but this smelled so good – and the house was warm on an icy weekend ! I hope we can book a whole week for next time. “Thank you so much for the warm welcome. We found the cottage spotlessly clean and so cosy.Your garden is brilliant and we sat hours on the terrace watching the birds and butterflies You dont find it everywhere and we enjoyed the difference. We have already re booked and look forward to seeing you again! Mary Price August 2008” Mary Price -
“We enjoyed a restful week at Foxes Reach, just what I needed after an unexpected 5 days in hospital. The Wye Valley is so beautiful and it was interesting to see the river in flood. Thank you for providing a lovely cottage in a wonderful location for visitors to enjoy. Bobbie Hosie and family” Bobby Hosie -
We came back to Foxes Reach for the second time and it wont be the last.We had a wonderful family holiday and your new hot tub was a roaring success with our boys.We had forgotten how lovely the area was -and how comfortable the cottage.Thank you! See you next year! The Davidson family Davidson -
“Thank you for a fabulous stay at your beautiful cottage. We have had such a relaxing stay and a lovely birthday- relexation being something normally tricky with a 1 and a 3 year old! We cannot fault anything but especially loved the hot tub, the woodburner, and the fact that you literally supply everything a person could require. Thank you for your added touches and the vidka which make it a delightful place to stay. Both us and the kiddies loved tintern Abbey and had great food at the Anchor and the Fountain ( only 5 mins away). We can really receommend the prizewinning Village shop in Brockweir complete with cafe and play area. A pleasure to visit! We will definitely be back! The Pyers. December 2013” The Pyors -
