National Geographic winner at Tintern Abbey Cottage

The winner of  a National Geographic Kids Competition brought her family for a very special weekend at Tintern Abbey Cottage.

The  5 star cottage ( which won Best Self Catering Place to Stay in Wales in 2010) is right opposite magnificent Tintern Abbey in the heart of the Wye Valley and a perfect touring base.

The family have planned a hectic weekend of mountain biking in the Forest of Dean  and  then canoeing  on the Wye and will also explore Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. With so much to do in the area they are spoiled for choice and will just have to come back to  experience more!
